Time to take some pictures! Use the following images as a guide for the pictures that we need.
1. MAIN PANEL: Let’s take a look at your main panel location! The main panel is usually located outside the house by the Electric Meter. Please send a picture of the complete panel, preferably from 15ft-30ft away. We need to see the surroundings of the panel and be able to identify its location when using a satellite image.
2. LOAD CALCULATION: We need a picture of the Breakers inside your Main Panel. The breaker numbers have to be legible. This is important as we are figuring out if your panel is capable of providing enough power to charge your electric vehicle.
3. SUB PANEL: Please be sure you check your house for sub-panels. Sub Panels are important as they can be located closer to the location of the EV Charging Station, saving material and labor. Although there are exceptions, Sub Panels are usually found inside the house and/or detached structures. They are usually smaller than the main panel.
4. GARAGE: Please try sending us many pictures of your garage or location where you will park your car. It is important that you take pictures of the wall where you want the EV Charger installed.
